Real Questions. Honest Answers.
If you’re wondering whether coaching is right for you, whether you have to know if you want a divorce, or what it’s actually like to work together with me, you’re in the right place. These are the questions I hear most often.
Before We Even Talk About Coaching
Who do you work with?
I work with women who are questioning their marriage, considering divorce, or contemplating/navigating separation. Some women ultimately stay. Some leave. Others realize they need more time before making such a big decision. My job isn’t to tell you what to do but to help you discover what’s truest for you.
Are you trying to convince women to get divorced?
No. I know that’s a common assumption because of the area of work I’m in, but I’m not in the business of convincing women to go.
What I am deeply invested in is helping women make conscious decisions about their marriage and potential divorce, rather than fear-based ones. Whether you stay or go, my work is to help you become more connected to yourself than you’ve ever been before so that whatever choice you make comes from clarity instead of fear, pressure, or obligation.
Do I have to know what I want before working with you?
Not at all. Most women come to me because they don’t know and in my book, confusion is the reason to reach out—not a reason to wait.
My husband isn’t abusive. Can I still work with you?
Absolutely. Many women assume they need to justify their unhappiness by proving their marriage is “bad enough.” With me, you don’t.
Whether you’re navigating emotional neglect, chronic loneliness, incompatible values, religious deconstruction, affairs, narcissistic dynamics, sexual coercion, or simply a quiet sense that you’ve lost yourself, your experience matters. If it’s weighing on your heart, it matters to me and it’s worth paying attention to.
What if I decide to stay?
Then we’ll explore what it would look like to stay in a way that feels healthy, intentional, and true to who you are. My goal has never been divorce. My goal is helping you build enough self-trust that whatever decision you make feels like one you are clear and confident about.
About Coaching
What actually happens in coaching?
Every woman who comes to me has a different story, so every coaching relationship looks a little different but one thing that always stays the same is that coaching with me is a safe, shame-free space designed to pull you out of analysis paralysis and help you reconnect with your inner truth—without me telling you what you should do.
Depending on where you are in your journey, we can work together in two different ways:
The 90-Minute Get Unstuck & Empowered Session is a focused, high-impact intensive. We unpack where you are right now, identify the underlying fears and subtle dynamics keeping you stuck, and discuss what you actually want most for your life and future—not just what feels reasonable. You’ll walk away with immediate insights and clarity and afterwards receive a tailored roadmap, including a custom PDF recap, a personalized audio breakdown, and curated resources to help you take your next steps.
The Deep Dive is my 3-month private, 1:1 coaching container for women ready to do the soul-deep work of resolving their marital indecision. Through weekly sessions and ongoing voice support between calls, we work to quiet the mental noise, dismantle old fear-based patterns, and bridge the gap between what your head knows and what your body feels. Together, we regulate your nervous system, set clear boundaries, and build undeniable self-trust so you can make your stay-or-go decision empowered and confident.
Is coaching the same as therapy?
No, but they work beautifully together. Therapy often focuses on healing the past and treating mental health concerns. Coaching is more focused on helping you understand where you are now, reconnect with yourself, make aligned decisions, and move toward the life you want to create. Many of my clients have wonderful therapists and choose to work with both of us.
What makes your approach different?
Finding clarity in your marriage isn’t something you can solve on a spreadsheet or a pros-and-cons list. What sets my work apart is how deeply holistic it is. We combine practical, strategic coaching with trauma-informed insights, nervous system awareness, relationship dynamics, and identity work. Instead of just talking about your marriage, we work through the subconscious fears and physical responses that are keeping you stuck. My focus is on helping you regulate your nervous system, dismantle the subconscious fears keeping you paralyzed, and build enough internal safety that your next steps gradually become clear from the inside out.
Do you take insurance?
I don’t. Coaching isn’t covered by insurance because it’s not considered mental health treatment. That said, many women choose coaching because they’re looking for something different than therapy. Coaching is future-focused and action-oriented, and it’s designed to help you gain clarity, reconnect with yourself, and move forward.
Can you tell me whether I should stay or leave?
No. I don’t believe anyone else can answer that question for you. If I tell you what to do, you’ll always wonder whether it was really your decision. Instead, I’m here to help you learn how to hear your own wisdom by teaching you how tosort through the fear, the guilt, the outside opinions, and all the things that make it hard to hear yourself.
What makes your coaching different?
I don’t believe there’s a formula for knowing whether to stay or leave a marriage and I’m not the right coach for you if you’re looking for someone who’s going to hand you a checklist or tell you exactly what to do.
I ask a lot of questions. I teach a lot. I love to go deep and help you listen to what your body is telling us. We’ll talk about nervous systems, attachment, trauma, patriarchy, boundaries, family systems, relationships, and all the weird ways our brains try to keep us safe. Sometimes you’ll leave with homework. Sometimes you’ll leave with one sentence that changes everything.
Every woman who comes to me has different values, different experiences, different fears, and different hopes for her future. My goal is never to fit your life into a rigid framework, but to guide you through a personalized process of self-discovery—giving you the clarity, self-trust, and internal safety to keep getting clearer about your decision.
What if I’m terrified of making the wrong decision?
I think that’s one of the most common fears women bring into coaching. Big decisions naturally come with fear. Rather than trying to make the fear disappear, we’ll get curious about what’s underneath it so you can make decisions from a more grounded place.

The Questions You're Almost Afraid to Ask
What if I don’t trust myself anymore?
Honestly, this is one of the biggest reasons women reach out. Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped trusting our own inner knowing. We learned to listen to everyone else’s opinions before our own. Helping you rebuild that relationship with yourself is at the heart of everything I do because, whether you stay or go, you’ll carry that relationship with you for the rest of your life.
What if people judge me for even being here?
They might. People have a lot of opinions about marriage and divorce. But this isn’t about living someone else’s life. It’s about understanding your own. Getting curious about your marriage doesn’t mean you’ve made a decision. It simply means you’re giving yourself permission to ask honest questions.
What if my husband finds out?
Every relationship is different. Some women are completely open with their spouse about coaching. Others prefer to keep it private while they’re sorting through their thoughts. There’s no right answer here. We’ll always prioritize what feels safe and appropriate for your unique situation.
What if I change my mind?
You probably will. Most women do at some point. Clarity rarely arrives all at once. It tends to unfold over time, and changing your mind along the way is often part of that process.
How long does it usually take to know?
There’s no one-size-fits-all timeline here. I’ve worked with women who experience a total breakthrough in a single 90-minute intensive, and others who choose to walk with me for months as they slowly unpack decades of expectations, fears, and relationship dynamics. Both paths are completely valid.
This isn’t a process you need to rush—it’s your life. You deserve the time, grace, and judgment-free space to figure out what you want on your own terms.
What if I feel guilty even thinking about leaving?
Guilt is incredibly common. Sometimes it’s pointing us toward something important. Sometimes it’s the result of years of conditioning about who we’re supposed to be. One of the things we’ll explore together is how to tell the difference.
What if I’m the problem?
I hear this question so often, and my gentle answer is: that might not be the most helpful way to look at it.
Framing yourself as “the problem” keeps you stuck in shame. A much richer question to explore is: “What is playing out here, and what is my authentic responsibility?”
In coaching, we will absolutely look at your side of the street. You will own your patterns, look at how you show up, and take responsibility where it’s yours. But you will also stop taking responsibility for your partner’s choices, emotional regulation, and issues. Disentangling those two things is where real clarity begins.
What if I’m worried I’m making a huge mistake?
I hear this from almost every woman I work with. Of course you’re worried—you are weighing a choice that alters the landscape of your entire life.
The fear of making a mistake usually comes from trying to predict every detail of the future from inside the fog of overthinking. Our goal isn’t to erase all risk or uncertainty; it’s to help you move out of panic mode and back into your body.
As you strengthen your intuition and learn to trust your own wisdom, the fear loses its grip. You stop asking, “What if I make a mistake?” and start knowing, “Whatever happens, I have my own back.”
What if I’m still not sure?
Then you’re probably in exactly the right place. You don’t need to arrive with a decision. You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need a willingness to get curious and a place where you can be honest. That’s where the journey towards clarity begins.
